Looking for a versatile, high-mileage training shoe? Saucony’s popular, smooth-running Ride is back with an improved upper that ensures an adaptive fit for the specific shape and movement of your feet. The Ride ISO 2 has the same soft and stable midsole cushioning chassis enhanced with Saucony’s energetic Everun foam as last year’s model—which we think is a good thing!—allowing it to serve up the same reliable combination of softness and responsiveness. The revised ISOFIT lacing system—which draws the laces like fingers wrapping the top of the foot—does a better job locking down the foot at the saddle than previous models, while the new FORMFit technology —a contoured three-layer midsole system that morphs to the shape and movement of a runner’s foot—creates a near-custom fit, feel and ride right out of the box. The Ride ISO 2 has an 8mm heel-toe offset (23mm heel, 15mm forefoot). The men’s version (size 9) weighs just 8.2 oz, while the women’s edition (size 7) is a scant 6.8 oz.
