Join us the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 a.m. for a women’s group run from In Motion Running. The runs are led by Vicki Hunter, a longtime local runner, trainer, coach and mentor. All levels of runners are encouraged to join as the group will run at a conversational pace for about 40-45 minutes before returning to the store and/or Vic’s coffee shop next door to In Motion Running.
Vicki has been a competitive runner most of her adult life, qualifying for the 1988 U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon by running a 2:49 at the Twin Cities Marathon. She has continued to compete in trail and ultra marathons. She is a certified Foundation Training Instructor and teaches deep water running at RallySport Health Club. She has had several serious injuries over the years, but through cross-training and consistency has managed to recover and come back stronger. She attributes Foundation Training to a new-found spring in her step as she approaches her next decade!
