Pearl Street Mile
August 10 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Now in its 22nd year, the Pearl Street Mile is a Boulder summer running institution and we’re proud to support it. Held on Saturday evening for the first time, it finishes on the Pearl Street pedestrian mall and is a fun experience for all levels of runners, no matter how fast you run. There is a kids 800m race, multiple age group races, an open race and an elite races. (T-Shirts will only be given to runners who register by Wednesday July 24, so register soon.)
New this year is a multi-lap, criterium-style course . Each race will start on Spruce Street (between 13th and 14th St.), and will send runners 3.5 laps around the historic Boulder County courthouse and finish on Boulder’s iconic pedestrian mall. The racing action begins at 5:20 pm with age-group heats and concludes with the men’s and women’s elite divisions at 8:15 p.m. The event will include live music from DJ Chris Cockcroft and an Avery Brewing Company beer garden (for those 21 and older).
We’ll be out there racing, volunteering and cheering runners on all evening. Come join the fun!
